privacy policy — BTC-VPN
> who we are
BTC-VPN is operated by BitVPS (bitvps.com). this policy covers what BitVPS stores about you as a BTC-VPN customer.
> what we collect
a randomly generated account id and your order history (plan, amount, payment status). that's it. if you choose to add an optional contact email for expiry reminders, we store that too. no names, no addresses, no phone numbers.
> what we don't collect
we do not log VPN traffic, connection timestamps, session durations, source IPs, or DNS queries. we do not use analytics trackers or advertising cookies. the only cookie is your login session.
> payments
payments are handled by third-party processors. card numbers never touch our servers; for crypto orders we store only the deposit address and amount. the processors keep their own records of transactions. if you want zero payment linkage, pay with a privacy coin such as monero.
> vpn infrastructure
the vpn network is run by a partner provider and we resell access to it. your traffic goes from your device to their servers; we never see it, so there is nothing for us to log. what happens on those servers is governed by the provider's no-logs policy, not by us — we chose them for it, but we cannot audit it. your vpn account is identified by a random username generated by us and is never linked to your email upstream.
> data retention
account data is kept while your account exists. delete your account by contacting support and all associated data is removed.
> disclosure
we cannot hand over data we do not have. we respond to legally binding requests only with the minimal account data described above.
